Fitness has really helped me gain confidence, make friends, be fitter & healthier. As a teenager it was all so different, I was overweight & very unfit- - the idea of running to the end of the road was hard - but I reached a point where I wanted to change. Wondering what I could do, I started following a John Tavalota exercise programme at home. Then with the help of a personal trainer I started going to the gym doing classes, weight training and running. I also started playing tennis which I had loved watching on the TV for years but never dared play as I'd been so unfit.
Taking how fitness had helped me I founded my personal training and fitness class business in 2003 after a successful career in finance with the aim of encouraging people, like me, not into health and fitness of all ages and abilities, to take it up to benefit their health, their fitness, to feel great have fun and make friends in a friendly welcoming environment.
I belong to The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity(CIMSPA) which is funded by Sport England at Level 4 as a Specialist Personal Trainer. Over the years I have gained a variety of skills in lots of areas of fitness. I particularly take a great deal of pride in the fact that I am able to help people with back pain, postural issues, diabetes, arthritis, anxiety, depression, joint problems, asthma, pregnancy, obesity, osteoporosis, heart disease and strokes.
As well as bringing personal training to your door either online, via home or outdoor sessions; I offer a variety of classes in the community and online to help you get fit whatever your age. So whatever budget there is something for everyone.
